Am I unemployable but can I turn my life around?

Have you ever asked yourself, “ Am I unemployable ?” You put in your CV to multiple companies but still no luck in the job market

The usual replies are usually, too old, over qualified, under qualified, no experience, lack of qualifications, and the list goes on. At the same time you have a wife or partner at home complaining that you should get yourself out there and find yourself a job, because Christmas or another important event is coming and money is needed.

The complaints don’t really work and you know you are trying but nothing seems to be enough. However, one option we take a long time to link about is starting out on our own and a entrepreneur or simply self employed. The normal argument is that it is too expensive, I want regular wages and it is just too tough. I would suggest that if you have been out of work for over a year and you haven’t considered reeducation or starting your own business you don’t really want to work in the first place. No you won’t get regular wages and yes it will be tough to get started but no it is not expensive, because many home businesses start from as little free.

So, are you serious about changing something in your life, then click on the “Get Started Today” button below and be forever employed by being self employed.

Unemployable people

The main problem is that you have become psychologically unemployable

The fact is years have gone by and during that time you have been treading water and waiting for the weekend in a dead-end job that had become comfortable if not boring, but enough money to keep the wife and kids off your back. The reality is it was a job you endured but now it’s gone and finding another job has become more difficult than you originally thought.

So you say to yourself again, “Am I really unemployable?” the truth is something you already knew unemployable people do not see themselves as unemployable, they see their situation as a gender, ageist or societal issue which they unfortunately feel it is not their fault. Maybe, it is not their fault and maybe the changing role of employment in society has made it more difficult for the job seeker to react fast enough when they find themselves out of work. However, that does not mean that one needs to sit and wait for a solution to full in one’s lap!

  • The first step towards breaking out of the unemployable mindset is to understand that one is unemployable and only then can one move forward towards a happier and more successful future.
  • The next step is to ask oneself “what do I need to do to stop myself from being one of the unemployable?”
  • The final step is to act on my findings!

So, what does that mean? I can hear you ask, being unemployable does not mean that you are unable to work, so if you are able to work you can easily work for yourself.

Working for yourself is a brave decision but frankly if you cannot find any form of work we could say you have been put towards this decision. However, once you have resigned yourself to the fact that you will now have a reason to get up in the morning and things to do it will become easier.

At the same time things  will change in your life such as people having more respect for you, even though you may not make much extra money from the start your wife and family will start to look up to you. And finally, you will see yourself in a different light where you are a self made individual that has made good things from nothing.

Psychologically unemployable

Unemployable people are entrepreneurs

The entrepreneurs are just unemployable people who employ themselves to achieve their personal and financial goals by running a business of one form or another.

But what do you do next?

Understandably you may not have thousands of dollars to start your own business and if you have been out of work for a while the banks may not be too willing to loan you money to start a new business. Sadly, this is the reality that the people who need the money can’t get the money.

There is really only one solution for the long term unemployed and that is considering a home based business.

Why should I start a home based business?

  • Firstly, they are relatively easy to start
  • Secondly the startup cost is low
  • And finally age, gender or level of education / experience is not an issue

Home based businesses have become more and more trendy of the years because many of the companies that run them want you to succeed so create a business environment that advocates being successful.

Am I unemployable

What will I need to get started?

Most people think that you need lots of hardware and a large investment which is simply so far from the truth. If you have a laptop and phone and somewhere quiet to work where there is a internet connection, you are in business globally.

Some years ago I was in a similar situation and after a few years of bouncing from one gig to another I made the decision that I needed to make a change.  I started a home business for 35$ and since then I have never looked back.
